How renting works

Four steps the first time, two steps after that.

Book and pay online
Pick your gear and dates. Your dates are locked the moment you pay.

Verify your ID once
A quick photo ID and selfie check. It is saved, so next time you skip it.

Upload your insurance
A certificate of insurance naming Epic 12 Studios as loss payee and additional insured, covering the full replacement value of the gear for the whole rental.

Pick up in Studio City
We place a deposit hold on your card at pickup and release it after the gear comes back in good shape.

Pickup and return

5301 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91607 (Studio City). Open 10:30am to 5pm.

Same-day pickup when the gear is free and your paperwork is approved.

Saturday and Sunday are free: pick up Friday, return Monday, and you pay one day.

A full week costs four days. Five or six days never cost more than a week.
